CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – THE ARCTIC CIRCLE 2014
The Arctic Circle expeditionary residency program embarks on two expeditions for the 2014 program; The Summer Solstice Expedition and The Autumn Art & Science Expedition.
Internatinal artists, scientists, educators and innovators will live and work aboard a Barquentine Tall Ship while sailing the waters of the international.
The Arctic Circle accepts applications from international working contemporary artists of all disciplines, architects, innovators, scientists and educators alike.

The Arctic Circle is a nexus where art intersects science, architecture, education, and activism – an incubator for thought and experimentation for artistes and innovators who seek out and foster areas of collaboration to engage in the central issues of our time.
Program
Artist and scientist led, The Arctic Circle is an annual expeditionary residency program.The Arctic Circle brings toguether international artists of all disciplines, scientists, architects, and educators who collectively explore remote and fascinating destinations aboard a specially out sailing vessel.
The Arctic Circle provides a shared experience for its participants to engage in myriad issues relevant to our time and to develop professionally through interdisciplinary collaborations, exhibit opportunities, and public and classroom engagement.
The Arctic Circle program supports the creation and exhibition of new pioneering work, and aims to empower the creative individual while fostering the collaborative.
