The Culture(s) of Sustainability
What is sustainability? Is it a technological or a creative challenge? Is it a political or an economic task? Is it a question if tradition if innovation? We believe that culture is and cultures are the basis for these colums of sustainability.
To explore and develop the cultures of sustainability, we invite design students and students from all other disciplines that deal with sustainability, to join the 5th Sustainable Summer School from August 25th to September 1st 2013 in Jüchen/Germany, next to Cologne and Düsseldorf. The registration is online.
We will provide you with an intense, creative, and trans-disciplinary environment in small teams. You will be in dialogue with international participants of diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. You will work with experienced and renowned instructors, visiting experts and sustainability stakeholders. You will experience an enriching learning and creative atmosphere in a unique venue.
